Sunday Program Reminder
Quick reminder… President Obama will again be interviewed by Steve Kroft on CBS’ 60 Minutes this evening.
Also, fair warning. There may or not be a full-on rant appearing on this page within the coming hours (or days). There was a segment on Charles Osgood’s CBS Sunday Morning this morning that just irked the heck out of me. It probably shouldn’t have, but it did. I’ve been brooding about it all day. I haven’t done an honest rant here in quite a while so one may be due. I haven’t decided yet. It really was an irksome segment, though. I’ll think on it some more during the Cowboys/Chargers game. Just be warned, I may be fixing to let loose with both barrels. (These things never live up to the hype, do they?)

P.S. For those interested, the Osgood segment that upset me is here. These “holiday angels” show up at Christmas and hand out a few hundred dollar bills and we treat them like heroes. These December philanthropists drop more than hundred bucks every day at lunch as a tip for their waiter. I am sure the recipients of their c-notes were appreciative. Heck, I would have been appreciative. Bottom line… they are going to retreat back to their lavish corner offices and hundred room mansions and not give another thought to the people they “helped” until it’s time to trot out their largess for the cameras again next December.
