Lose to win
President Obama will be delivering a prime time speech on national television tonight to explain his decision to escalate the war in Afghanistan. It will be carried live by all the networks (including, surprisingly, FOX) at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, 7:00 p.m. Central time. I have not heard or read the President’s speech so I probably should not comment on it, though the likely content has already been widely publicized. I did however listen to Keith Olbermann’s special comment last night so I can comment on that. I agree with Keith.
