2012 and global destruction

Saturday Night Live showed us last night exactly what will happen in 2012 if The Alaskan Joke is somehow elected to the presidency. (It will never happen, of course, but it’s good to have advance warning just in case.)

UPDATE: Also from last evening’s SNL, Al Gore explains to Seth Meyers how he is going to “out crazy” the crazy:

Why are you guy’s so afraid of Palin ?
And instead of making a joke, or deleting my comment, why not give an honest answer ?

    Afraid?

Well, maybe afraid is the good word.

One of the main reasons people who are not well educated enough to know that Russia is not to be seen from her window is, that people from in- and outside can blackmail her, manipulate her. feed her wrong information.

Sticking well on photopaper and movietape doesn’t mean she can deal with the press, see through international political issues and be the first person of the USA.

I know far better people who would be far better presidents that this woman: Andrena Ingram, for instance.

But I think those who follow this entertainement woman are afraid of change.
She sure won’t be able to handle changes for the best.
And certainly not for the best of who need that.

    @ Rob:
I cannot speak for “you guy’s,” Rob, but as for myself… I am not afraid of Sarah Palin. Her fifteen minutes of fame are almost over. I fear for a country where a good portion of the citizenry actually takes a person like her seriously. That is my honest answer.

Wonder if Sarah Palin ever heard of a Baked Alaska… topped with melted ice caps.
