The bullet we dodged

Can you believe it has already been nearly a year since the 2008 election? Here a couple of reminders of the bullet we dodged…

Just a little something to add to your list of things for which you should be grateful as the Thanksgiving season approaches.

I cringe at how close we gave that freak a national stage. It’s bad enough with her on the sideshow stage she now defiles.

You may find this to be an odd opinion coming from me, at least at first, but I too believe that it is better that team McCain did not prevail. If McCain had won the election America would not have learned the lesson which they should have learned long ago; that is, that the enemies of our republic do not just exist outside of our borders.

Good thing too, otherwise we might be in a recession, have double digit unemployment, gone trillions into debt bailing out Wall Street, still be in Iraq, still have no purpose in Afghanistan, have no reform in skyrocketing health care costs, have detainees in gulags, don’t ask don’t tell, DOMA, wiretapping, lobbyists making policy behind closed doors,

whataminute….why was it we were not suppose to vote for the other guy again?

But remember too, that the race was not even close! McCain and, especially Palin, were soundly REJECTED by the American electorate. I repeat that: Especially Palin. I think here is a case of an ego not unlike a runaway freight train: it will either destroy itself or destroy whatever it hits.

McCain really shot himself in the foot adding that little tart as his runny mate. I think many of the good things he’s done and believed in (he and Obama aren’t really on oppposite sides all the time) were overshadowed by the governor of a little town smaller than many highschools. Overshadowed by the mom who claimed to believe in family first despite the fact that her daughter’s were the primary care givers for her youngest, overshadowed by the mom who claimed to be a pta like the rest of us (oh yea, she joined once; was never active when her oldest was in K and hasn’t done anything since). Oh wait, she doesn’t follow through on any of her commitments, she left office too didn’t she.

Thankful yes, that people woke up and said, the women who thinks she can see Russia from her window isn’t in a position of power. Good Lord.

The war, the inflation someone above spoke about was with us before the election, or you forgotten that? For that you can thank little GW and his lack of leadership for 8 years

    @ da Patriot:

the enemies of our republic do not just exist outside of our borders.

We’ve actually had Republicans for quite a while now, da.

Dont you mean ate!?! We be 5 million times better off with him as prez well maybe not with the female as vice she was a little off key but the vice dont do shit any how. Most people I talk to wish they could change there vote because of the poor job are current Prez is doing. My city is one of the highest voting citys for obama in the nw but most hate the job hes doing. You know clunkers rebate did not work so he tryed it again and again it failed. What gets me mad the most is his money for college thing I tryed it and it only goes down to the high school class of 08′ Im 09′ not 08′ it still dont work. I can go on for days but like all the posters around town say ‘Got A Clue?’ but this blog post says nope where still taking it up the ******! I hate messages that are half ass not thinking stupid messages so dont send me crap you cant back up. Most of my high school class voted for Obama and most did not even know what he was going to do. Most said ‘Hes black lets vote for him.’ I dont mean to be rude or anything you want a comment I gave it. I might start reading this blog maybe depend if there a lot of crap or not. If you like to be pissed off at me and send hate mail just go to my site and do it.

Peace… lol jk there is no more!
