The day for which we all have been patiently awaiting for so long has finally arrived. Today, Barack H. Obama becomes the 44th President of the United States of America. We are approaching another one of those “Do you remember where you were when…?” moments.
The ceremonies have begun. We are now listening to the prelude by the United States Marine Band. I hope you are able to watch and enjoy them from wherever you are…

Watching the inauguration right now on FoxNews and using my laptop.
I think it is all neat.
The peaceful transition of power is unique to all of the rest of the world.
May God bless America.
US Navy band all the way!

Congrats Len, I know you are in all your glory today!
May God bless Barack Obama, and may God bless America.
@Paul – Political Conservatives : Would you believe that I, too, watched it on FOX News? I think Shepard Smith did an outstanding job and their camera work was exceptional. I commend them for making it through the entire thing without one single commercial interruption.
@Carole : I don’t know that I’m in all my glory, but I know it feels good. I actually stood up and cheered when the helicopter carrying the Bushes took off from in front of the Capitol.
