30 minutes
In the event that you missed it or you just want to watch it again, here is the 30-minute Barack Obama ‘infomercial’ that aired earlier this evening…
If you watched the program on television, you know that at the end there was a fade-in to a live Obama/Biden rally in Florida. That fade-in is not included in the video posted here.
Please vote on November 4. (Or earlier, if you are in a state that allows early voting.)

Obama’s 30-minute ad was excellent, even inspiring.

Let’s visit that argument…
Household Earnings Obama’s Plan-McCain’s Plan—per Money Magazine
Less than $18,981 -$567 -$21
$18,982 to $37,595 -$892 -$118
$37,596 to $66,354 -$1,118 -$325

$226,919 to $603,402 +$121 -$8,159
$603,403 and up +$93,709 -$48,682
I guess if I were making over $111,645 a year, I’d be complaining about Obama too. BTW, where are the +’s on the McCain side? How can one balance a budget with no +’s?

One question for you Len: Do you ever buy the products advertised in infomercials that run in the early hours of the morning when most people are still asleep? If not, how is this infomercial different? All infomercials are designed to make their product look like it would be a no-brainer to purchase. The truth of the matter is, after purchasing an infomercial product, almost inevitably 100% of the time there is serious buyer’s remorse.
I must admit, I turned over to “Ghost Hunters” on the Sci-Fi channel rather than watch the Obammercial.
Not that I don’t support the guy, I’m just getting kinda burnt out on all of this.
I did, however, watch his interview on The Daily Show – now that was fun! I loved his jab at Sean Hannity fans!
@Matt Urdan: Well… I think this infomercial was different because, if you noticed, it did not run in the early hours of the morning. It was not trying to get you to buy anything. Senator Obama was making the case for why he should be the next President of the United States. Also, I read your comment (written by someone else) on like a hundred right wing blogs last night after the program aired. The argument didn’t stand up then and it doesn’t stand up now.
And for those who are concerned about how much the Obama campaign spent on this program… I don’t care. He could have spent a billion dollars on it if it saves our country from another four years of Republican rule.
Finally, voting for Obama/Biden over McCain/Palin should be a no-brainer.
A lot of Republicans are very bitter and (like Joe McCain) very angry about last night’s program. A Democrat just is not supposed to be able to spend that much money. A Democrat is not supposed to be that intelligent, that convincing, that caring and that patriotic. A Democrat is not supposed to win this election. Well, guess what? (And I say this, believe me, with all due respect.) Get. Over. It.
Did I answer your question? Hope so.
P.S. I wish some wealthy Republican would give John McCain the money to do the same thing Barack Obama did last night. There is nothing I would love more at this point in the game than to see Senator McCain presenting himself and the rationale for his presidential campaign on national television for 30 minutes. I think it’s important for the American people to know who they are voting for. What say, Matt… got an extra three or four million lying around?
