But, since you claim to have read all the comments before you decided to insult me – “And as far as Matt goes, he obviously can’t “debate” you on the issues so he has to attack your integrity — which is exactly what the McCain campaign was doing to Obama. If you don’t like being lumped into a group Matt, stop acting like your part of that group.” – then surely you know that I was the one who took the high road and called the remark he quoted from the right-wing blog what it really was – ridiculous – and told him I didn’t agree with it. If you don’t like being lumped into one group like you said then I would think you would understand my point, but you chose to attack me instead. Speaks to your own character – I believe the word is hypocrite. I guess it serves me right for trying to find common ground with those who truly think they are above the rest of us.

By the way, if I am so ignorant why did you give me such a nice compliment on your blog in your most recent post “You’re appreciated! If you blog it he will come”? A review of her blog by Matt on Entrecard describes her blog much better than I could: “Lilly has an uncanny ability to make everyday events in her life into very funny and entertaining stories for her readers. Yet, she shows great insight and perspective on important issues that affect us all. She has several ‘series’ which she posts to on a regular basis and I highly recommend them all.”

Seems to me if my character was so bad you wouldn’t be praising me, would you?

I do not associate with hateful people in real life and I see no reason to do so on my blog.

Your lack of moral fiber is outdone only by your complete denial of the facts! Have YOU watched the news or read a paper lately? You don’t need me to direct you to any sites that spew the filth I was talking about because you already said you agree with a couple of them. And, I notice the Daily Kos is listed on your side bar under “Americans” (the Kos should offend every American, not just conservatives) yet you have a separate category for conservatives. Aren’t conservatives American in your world?

Perhaps the saddest part of this whole dialogue is that I tried to engage you in intelligent debate when you decided (as usual) to lump all conservatives together in a a condescending way and then you have the gall to say I am the one spreading hate? I guess you’re not interested in the opinions of anyone who doesn’t completely agree with you. Next time you disparage someone the way you have disparaged me I suggest you take a long, hard look in the mirror, friend.

@Preston – If you want to try and inject yourself into a discussion that doesn’t concern you at least read ALL the previous posts first, lest you show your true ignorance. The whole discussion was over the fact that I didn’t agree with the following statement, “I believe the markets are crashing because people are angry and afraid of the socialism that will take over our country if Obama is elected.”, and Len claimed that all right-wingers think the same way so we must all agree with that statement. And, somehow, after I refuted the statement, I am accused of spreading hate. Wow, you two really are living in a dream world.

If I were you, I don’t think I’d be talking about moral fiber or people wanting to kill their political enemies because they disagree with them. Been watching the news or reading any newspapers lately? I know… it’s all lies because it’s the liberal media. Whatever.

Please, as long as you are supporting the Republican party, do not dare come here and lecture me about hate. I mean it. That particular boat just isn’t going to float around here, my friend.
