We didn’t
A bit over five years ago, way back in August of 2003, and man by the name of Howard Dean was running for the Democratic nomination for the presidency of the United States.
On August 22, 2003 Dr. Dean wrote an op-ed column for The Wall Street Journal. It was entitled “We Can Do Better.” Turns out that we didn’t. Do better, that is.
Go back and read it. It’s kind of fun to peek into our recent history and wonder how things might have gone differently.
I hope we’ve learned our lesson. Or, at least, “a” lesson.
I really, really do.

Howard “The Sweater” Dean?
I was fortunate enough to get for Howard Dean during 2004 New Hampshire Primary. It was so sad the “scream” ultimately led to his downfall. I still think he was a better candidate than John Kerry.
I think the lesson we are learning right now is just how very much Bush and his cronies have lined their pockets with our money for fuel and gasoline.
Now they want to keep their party in and amazingly gas price are falling. I mean come on what’s up? We are still in Iraq and that was one of their excuses for our problems with fuel.
The real reason is because we have a sitting president who’s family wealth is based on the oil and gas industry.
I will be so glad to see them gone.
So long Republicans!!:-))
