Can Sarah read?
Can you read the quote on this Starbucks coffee cup?

It reads: “There is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.” — Madeleine K. Albright, Former Secretary of State and Ambassador to the U.N.
That’s not what it says according to Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Yesterday, at a rally for misguided people in California, Mrs. Palin said the quote on the cup reads “There’s a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women.” Don’t believe me? Watch the video…
In other words, if you are a woman and you are not supporting Mrs. Palin’s candidacy, you are going to hell. There is a place in hell reserved for women who do not support other women.
Sarah goes on to say “Okay, now, thank you so much for receiving that well. I didn’t know how that was gonna go over. And now, California, let’s see what a comment like I just made, how that is turned into whatever it’ll be turned into tomorrow in the newspaper.”
Well, Sarah, perhaps what it will be turned into tomorrow in the newspaper is what it actually said. You think?
Secretary Albright issued this statement: “Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom, what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-Biden.”
So… can Sarah read? Or is she just twisting someone else’s words to suit her own purpose… something Republicans are wont to do?
The more we see of this woman, the more Johnny McCain’s judgment in selecting her to be his running mate is called into question.

Well gosh darn it someone told me that’s what it said. Looks like I’m going to have to get back to you on that.
Ok I think what she was TRYING to say is that Albright, by not supporting her, was a hypocrite.
@Michelle : Why should it be our responsibility to try to figure out what she was TRYING to say? Gosh darn it, we’ve been doing that George W. Bush for going on eight years now. That’s long enough.
“Back in 1929,during the great depression.Franklin Roosevelt went on Tv and ……..”
“Stand up George…..uh … what am I talking about……everybody stand up for George”
That that is some easy material for SNL if they weren’t so smuggly left-wing… but you guys know what we need to see don’t you?
Oh yeah…..Sarah is running the largest state in Union and running for VP. We are sitting here reading blogs and writing comments. Yes sirree we know who is smart!
I can’t tell you how angry Palin made me with these remarks – I hated her already, but I took this personal, it’s like she is calling for a Holy War against women, I will not be threatened by her lies – how dare she threaten eternal damnation to women who won’t support her. I can’t help but keeping posting about her lies, her ego, and her sleaziness. A great blog you might enjoy is written by an alaskan, and the truth is getting out! (Links to it on in my post from yesterday Sarah Palin Declares A Holy War on Women)
Just confirms that Palin has no substance. She just prostituted the essence of feminism.
