While I thought they did an admirable job with both, I noticed that with the DNC they gave us stats of the delegates - what percents were women, ethnic minorities, gays in attendance, ages of the attendees, etc, along with historic facts of past DNC conventions and candidates. With the RNC, all we got was the historic facts part. I mean, I guess it's hard to say "all old white right-wingers" and not get attacked as the "liberal media" - oh, but wait, there were a few African-Americans present - Donna Brazile was there on the CNN podium to represent the Democrats, and there were a handful of others: in the band playing before the opening gavel on Day 4.
