Rick Davis, campaign manager for McCain, said last week that “This election is not about issues.”

Why on earth would McCain actually talk about issues in his speech then? He’s too busy trying to scare us with graphic pictures of 9/11.

I watched both conventions on CNN. While I thought they did an admirable job with both, I noticed that with the DNC they gave us stats of the delegates – what percents were women, ethnic minorities, gays in attendance, ages of the attendees, etc, along with historic facts of past DNC conventions and candidates.
With the RNC, all we got was the historic facts part. I mean, I guess it’s hard to say “all old white right-wingers” and not get attacked as the “liberal media” – oh, but wait, there were a few African-Americans present – Donna Brazile was there on the CNN podium to represent the Democrats, and there were a handful of others: in the band playing before the opening gavel on Day 4.

It’s actually sad. The guy whored himself out awhile ago, but he’s trying to convince us that the guy we once had respect for is still in there.

Sorry, Johnny. I’m not buying it. I stopped buying it when you started hugging monkeys.
