I was following this closely. This is very sad. She was awesome and a rising star in congress, not to mention a Hillary supporter.

@Chris: The early reports were erroneous. Unfortunately, the most recent reports are not. Congresswoman Tubbs Jones has indeed passed away. The reports of her death were erroneous. The AP issued a correction; Rep. Tubbs-Jones is in critical condition, with limited brain function.

Obviously her condition is extremely serious and I echo your call to pray for her family and friends.

I saw her speak in 2004, and she was kick-ASS. There are so few in CONgress who are willing to do what they were sent there for, and she was most certainly one of the few.
