I don’t believe there’s anyway for Clinton to win at this point. I think they need to unite the Party and get on with it.

And you’re right, Senator Obama did say that Indiana would be a tiebreaker. (I apologize, Jay. That was my first mistake ever, and words cannot begin to describe how devastated I am at this moment.) Though why he would believe there was a tie to be broken is beyond me. Oh, well… I’m sure it’s probably not the only thing he’ll say in the next eight years that I won’t necessarily agree with.

don’t have a horse in this race hillary won’t drop out until at least after June 3rd and BO can’t win (ie wrap up the necessary votes) until the convention. For some reason the undecided (undeclared?) SD’s [my how democratic ] won’t come out of the closet.

Will he win, of course, she hasn’t a shot unless the SD’s do what they were created for (to overcome the will of the people, not necessarily for Hillary).

@jay : I think you may be a little confused, my friend. First, it was Hillary, not Barack, who was saying that Indiana would be the tiebreaker (as if there ever was a tie). Second, it was Hillary, not Barack, who was projected to win Indiana by 20 points (and ended up winning by 2 – probably owing to Big Fat Idiot Limbaugh and his dittoheads).

As I recall, Gore put up a fight. You really can’t take it much further than the Supreme Court. When the Supremes are stacked against you, you’re toast. And I never really cared much for Kerry, so you can downtalk him all you want.

I don’t mind that you support Hillary Clinton. She’s a smart, tough lady and a lot of people do. I just wish she was a bit more of a Democrat and a little less of a Clinton.

Wasn’t there something by BO about Indiana being the tiebreaker…because that would be the last state he could possibly win in the primaries…and that if he couldn’t get that with his projected 20 point lead…he probably couldn’t do squat in the general election?

Just as an aside to another forgotten memory; remember when we all wailed and moaned because Kerry quit too early and Gore never really put up a fight. Oh how we pined for a real fighter, one that would not roll over.

We really should be careful what we wish for.

The word lose is not in the Clinton vocabulary and I figured she would go all the way. I don’t think they know when to quit. She will go to the extent of wrecking the party if need be. Someone ought to talk some sense into her. They know it’s a losing proposition, and are probably going to fight for Florida and Michigan – again.

But Chelsea’s expression was giving their fight away; she had a pained look while Hillary addressed the North Carolina supporters. If Bill Clinton was JFK’s heir, he should know that the legacy he holds will have to be passed on. I’m sure he realizes that the person deserving that legacy is Barack, not Hillary. –Durano, done!

And if it weren’t for the Rev. Write scandal Obama would’ve taken Indiana easy. She’s hanging on hoping another scandal will break.

And you can put Hillary’s victory in Indiana down to The Oxycontin Cow’s “Operation Chaos,” designed to make Hillary an easier “aunt sally” (as the British would call a target for attack) as would guarantee (in theory) sure victory for The Terrible-Tempered Mr. Bang come November.
