This picture, supposedly showing John Kerry dining alone in a mess hall in Iraq, has been making the rounds of the right wing blogosphere over the past couple of days…

It looks like this was all just another attempt by a bunch of right wing bloggers to hang on to what little relevance they may have left. Crooks and Liars has the details.

Personally I didn’t pay much attention to this. Kerry’s an arse. But I ignored this, it was just too easy. That beinf said, when people such as yourself make braod sweeping generalizations, like “It looks like this was all just another attempt by a bunch of right wing bloggers to hang on to what little relevance they may have left.” I feel I must defend my brethern.
This photo is real. That is undisputed at this point, see Michelle Malkin, she’s got a nice break down. But what you are trying to imply was that he was alone in the room. NO, he was shunned at the table he was at… see all the chairs around him… empty. LOL. It is funny. No rightwinger cliamed he was alone in the mess hall.

The picture was taken in London, not Iraq.
I did not say anyone said he was alone in the mess hall… the claim was that he was dining alone in the mess hall. See what a difference one word can make?
