Vilsack may make himself known, especially since the Iowa caucuses lead things off. Dems have always had a penchant for nominating fresh faces, too. I predict nothing and he has an uphill fight, to be sure. But since I think that Hillary will drop out of the race and Obama will decide he’s still too green, the field is more open than the pundits think right now.

I agree, Mark. I think the field is more open in both parties than a lot of people think. Both the Democratic and Republican nominees will likely be somebody who currently appears on nobody’s radar.
At least that’s what I’m hoping. This country definitely needs a fresh face and a lot of new ideas.
