Congressman resigns
Yesterday, Raw Story reported on an e-mail exchange between Representative Mark Foley (R-FL) and a then 16-year-old page.
Today, Representative Foley resigned from his seat in Congress.
While I cannot mourn the fact that there is now one less Republican in the House of Representatives, the circumstances resulting in this resignation are not to be celebrated. I hope Mr. Foley will now seek and find the help he appears to need.
