Rightwing Nutcase

Posted by Len on Monday, July 3rd, 2006 at 9:57 am CT in Politics

You must see this Tom Tomorrow cartoon. He nails it.

Then, three words I thought I would never see on a right-wing weblog (at least until 2009): “DISSENT IS PATRIOTIC.” That’s how Mad Michelle reminds her minions that she will be protesting the New York Times in front of their building in D.C. at noon today.

I know it’s short notice, but be there if you can. It should be as much fun to watch as the one next Monday.

Update: Malkin and this person have pictures of the “protest” in D.C. today. Malkin says there were “a couple dozen protesters” though the pictures don’t really show it. Anyway, check ‘em out. Silly wingnuts.

Update II: Matt Stoller also has pictures.

Tom Tomorrow “nails it” huh? Can you go into a little more detail on that?
First, we are involved in a World war, where extremists want to kill us all. Remember September 11, 2001? Remember all those people who were murdered? Remember the extermists who claimed responsibility for it? Remember all of the other attacks they have made, including the Bali bombing, the USS Cole, Khobar Towers, numerous kidnappings and beheadings. This Tom Tommorrow cartoon supposes that “Right Wing” idealogically motivated people are all nutcases, and that they want to torture, maim, and murder those with a different ideaology than they have. It is totally absurd in it’s statement, but it belies an even bigger problem. The problem that the left wing moonbats won’t face the reality that we are in a global struggle for our survival. Simply astonishing!

Yes, I remember all those things, Paulsur. Yes, the rightwing nutcases are filled with hate. Yes, we’re in a global struggle for our survival. We have been for the past 230 years. We’ve survived this long, and I daresay we’ll survive another few years… even with the wingnuts wanting to kill everybody who dares to disagree with them. Simply astonishing, isn’t it?

Set your hate aside for a couple of days and celebrate the Fourth with the rest of us Americans, Paulsur. It’ll do you good.

Len, I don’t hate anyone. That’s the point. You guys make up your own reality. Did you know in the most recent Gallup/USA Today poll, that while 70% of conseervatives were extremely proud to be American nearly 40% of liberals stated that they were not. This is nothing but bizarre. You have the right to dissent, you have the right to disagree, and certainly in a representative government we all at some point or another are going to be unhappy with what our representives do, but be ashamed of it??
I don’t hate you Len, I don’t know you. I certainly don’t want to hurt you becuase of your political idealology know matter how misguided it may be. But I do want you to be safe, as I want all Americans to be safe. 911 wasn’t a crime, it was a operation in a global war, and we all need to realize this, but even if you want to keep your head in the sand and deny this, I will continue to stand up for Truth, Justice, and the American way for us both! Happy 4th.

Reality Check: Maybe someone who reads this will next time check facts first before hacking away.

Rumsfeld okayed pictures of his home for NY Times

Blogger Glenn Greenwald is reporting that the published photograph of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld’s home on Maryland’s Eastern Shore were taken with the Secretary’s permission. Following the publication of the photo (right) by the New York Times,a number of well know bloggers and political commentators, including Michelle Malkin and David Horowitz, attacked the paper for putting the property at risk of attack.

What is left of Malkin, Hinderaker and Horowitz’s credibility?

Thank you, Paulsur. You seem like a nice person. I’m sorry you have fallen for all that right wing propaganda.

Have a safe and happy Fourth. Don’t get too tired standing up out there for Truth, Justice and the American Way! Remember to drink lots of fluids and use sunscreen. ;)

    Paulsur,

It is very bizarre that many of the moonbats are ashamed to be Americans and it just goes to show how wide spread the leftwing ideology has spread. They actually believe that they are in majority because they believe all of those ridicuous polls that they believe re-enforce their beliefs. As long as we still have a President that won’t back down to all of the left wing moonbats we will be a lot safer.

Whatever gets you through the night, scott.

Have a safe and happy Fourth!
