Alito confirmed
Today, by a vote of 58 to 42, the United States Senate confirmed Samuel Anthony Alito Jr. as an Associate Justice in the United States Supreme Court.
Forty-two people did not believe that Mr. Alito should be a Supreme Court justice.
If those same 42 people had voted against cloture yesterday, Mr. Alito would not be a Supreme Court justice today.
Frickin’ idiots.

One Response to “Alito confirmed”

I think you have it back words, the frickin idots were the senators that backed the twin Senators from Mass. who were pushing for a filibuster that was unwarranted. Now we finally have a court that has moved back toward the right form the liberal left. No we don’t have to worry about the swing vote from O’Connor the liberal in disguise.
