John Hinderaker is all upset because we aren’t all outraged that some dude named Vladimir Arutyunyan threw a grenade (which turned out to be a dud) at some stage where George W. Bush was giving a speech this past May 10. He concludes…
Maybe the current political climate is making me paranoid, but I cannot imagine that our news services would be equally indifferent to an attempt to assassinate a Democratic President.
I don’t know who to put this delicately, so I’ll just come right out with it… there are losses and then there are losses. Some are easier to live with than others; some or easier to recover from than others.
Maybe John wants us to declare May 10 a national holiday or something?
Nothing happened, dude. It was a dud. Get over it.
