Health care crisis
George W. Bush would do a much better job of serving the citizens of this country were he to focus his energies on a crisis that exists today — health care — rather than a crisis that may come into existence in 30 to 50 years — Social Security.

I’m a believer.
We received a copy of the hospital bill for my little adventure a couple of weeks ago. Total charges were over $80,000.00. Just for the hospital. This does not include the bills from the physicians who tended to me, and I am sure that cardiologists do not work cheap. It isn’t over yet, either, as we are still fighting the infection I managed to pick up while in the hospital.
Thankfully, we have health insurance that will cover nearly all of these bills. Can you imagine the state we’d be in if we didn’t? A lot of people are in that state.
So, why doesn’t George forget about making his Wall Street buddies rich for a while and work on a real crisis?
