FYI: I’ll not be watching the speech tonight. I cannot watch the imbecile speak for that amount of time. I cuss at the televison when his face appears for just a few seconds on the evening news. Besides, I’m kind of ticked that he’s preempting West Wing. I’ll read the text of the speech after it’s published.
Update: I just read the text of the speech. A lot of very big talk from a very small man. He has good speechwriters!

Bush statue
The new mayor of Baghdad wants to build a statue of George W. Bush, which of course will be toppled as soon as our troops are no longer there to protect it.
The old mayor was assassinated for his pro-American loyalties. The new mayor isn’t taking any chances…
As for his own protection, the new mayor will be traveling in a new $150,000 SUV complete with bulletproof windows and flat-resistant tires.
Smart man, this new Mr. Mayor… except maybe for this statue building business.
