Controversial?
CBS and NBC have refused to run a 30 second advertisement for the United Church of Christ because they deem it too controversial.
Please watch the ad and let me know if you agree.

I’m not sure what’s so controversial about this. The Mormons advertise all the time… commercials for chuches are nothing new. Strange, seeing as religion is not something you “consume,” but not offensive.
Okay I didn’t see the first link you posted. Now I really don’t get it - who cares if the church lets gay people pray? That’s their own business. I didn’t even noticed the implied homosexual couple until I saw it a second time. Geez this country has a lot of work to do doesn’t it?
Perhaps the controversy is not so much that the ad says the UCC is inclusive but it also implies that other churches do not accept the gays, non-whites, etc.
