The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Washington Redskins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.
Go, Packers!

Ah yes, I found out about that yesterday from my mom.
My Republican mother and step-father were thrilled that the Packers won. Me too, come to think of it.
Am currently counting down the hours until I can cast my vote, though it may be worthless here in the state of KS. Democrats here are about as plentiful as Ben & Jerry’s in a health food store.
