I don’t like spam
Today I fired another shot in my battle against comment spam.
Commenting has been turned off on all entries older than seven days. You may still read the comments on entries older than seven days, you just can’t add a new one.
I figure if you’re going to comment on something I post here, you’re going to do so within seven days of the time I post it, right? And it has been my experience that spammers like to leave their spam comments on older entries.
I don’t like spam.
Really.
Spammers, of both the weblog and the e-mail varieties, can all go straight to heck in a nightbag. (Wow! That was strong!)
