Glancing at the ticking thing on the wall, I realize that it is now almost 2:00 a.m. The s/o snuck off to bed a couple of hours ago. I need to get out of this habit of staying up half the night, because the day will surely come when I will once again be employed. Whoever is lucky enough to hire me will most likely expect me to show signs of life before noon.

The arm started giving me pain about an hour ago, so I popped another pill. Perhaps it will settle me down enough that I will be able to slip off into dreamland soon.

For some reason, I have been thinking about the moon landing. Remember when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon in 1969 and uttered that famous phrase…. something about one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind? I’m wondering why we haven’t been back in nearly 33 years? Did we really go to the moon, or was it all just a giant government hoax like some claim? If we really went, why haven’t we gone back?
