In this week’s address, the President and the First Lady wished all Americans a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. They reflected on the honor of serving the American people as President and First Lady over the past eight years and the progress that has been made. The President and the First Lady recognized our troops and their families for their service, and they encouraged everyone to visit JoiningForces.gov to find out how to support service members, veterans, and military families in your community.

First Lady’s got game

The Miami Heat visited the White House recently to celebrate their NBA championship. While they were there, First Lady Michelle Obama drafted a few of them to help make a promo for her “Let’s Move” campaign.

I love this. It makes me smile every time I watch it.

Commencement 2013

It’s the time of year that students begin graduating, most with knowledge and degrees that they will most likely never use. But, hey… they’re educated!

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama each delivered a commencement address this past weekend. The First Lady went to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Academic Magnet High School for Health Sciences and Engineering in Nashville, Tennessee. The President went to Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Here are their speeches…

Did you catch FLOTUS on Fallon last night? If you didn’t, you missed a good time and an excellent interview. In honor of Mrs. Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign and to encourage parents to get up and get moving with their kids, Jimmy Fallon and Michelle Obama presented The Evolution of Mom Dancing.
