The Texas primary is six days away. I thought I would share with you just a bit of the silliness we are being bombarded with on television right now. This is the stuff that would get these folks laughed out of town up north, but folks down here eat it up.

This first ad comes from our current Lieutenant Governor, David Dewhurst. He wants the seat in the United States Senate being vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

See what I’m talking about?

Next is one of our esteemed State Supreme Court justices. He wants to be reelected to another term on the bench and wants to ensure that the people of Texas know where he stands on the issues and how he will rule on every case that comes before him.

Extreme much?

The last one I will inflict upon you is a lady who wants to be a Texas Railroad Commissioner. She wants you to know that she is ready and willing to “stand up to” the President of the United States.

How do these people come up with this crap. Better yet, how can anybody with any sense believe it? Finally, I really hope I’m in the room when Ms. Craddick stands up to President Obama. Entertainment of the year right there.

Gods save me. I don’t know how much more I can take.

  1. Politics is really hard to understand, most of the time people are the one’s suffering.

  2. And just what does being Railroad commissioner have to do with presidential politics? And how is she going to save oil field jobs? Sounds like a pretty big stretch there to me.No worse than politics here in AR though.

  3. they(the ads)are just as stupid here in Ohio.I love the keystone piplines. the reason that the President blocked it was sone og the state governors said not in my state.

  4. I stopped watching TV a couple years back. Crap like this reminds me of why.
