In case you missed it this evening, here’s Michelle Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention.

She’s going to make a great First Lady, isn’t she?

Before Michelle, there was Caroline and Ted Kennedy. They were terrific, weren’t they?

What a night.

Here is the full schedule for tomorrow. It will feature the keynote address by Mark Warner, the former governor of Virginia, and remarks by Hillary Rodham Clinton.

  1. It’s going to be interesting to see how everything plays out, especially since Biden’s on board.

  2. Michelle Obama’s speech more than exceeded my expectations. I knew she was an eloquent speaker, but she went quite beyond the introduce-my-spouse speech.

Senator Kennedy’s speech was inspiring, also. Say what you will about the man, but to come and deliver that speech only weeks after brain surgery is quite amazing.

Looking forward to the rest of the convention, and thanks, Len – for presenting a Democratic voice here on the internet. Seems like I encounter so many Republican political blogs that just get me fired up, it’s nice to have found a place I can relate to. Thanks.

  3. Enjoyed Kennedy…the rest was just eh…we’ll see how the remainder of the week plays out.

  4. I was kind of underwhelmed by last night. I’m very curious to see how things go over tonite with Hillary. Ted Kennedy looked great.

  5. @Anthony Fuller; @Carole : Wow. If you guys were “underwhelmed” last night, I can hardly wait to see what your reactions are going to be to next week’s slumber party in St. Paul. 😉

  6. It was a fantastic night . great really.

  7. I was pleasantly surprised by Michelle. She will make a great first lady indeed!

  8. Are you all drinking heavily, or just so brainwashed you actually enjoy this sleep fest?
I am enjoying the gaffs and screw-ups, though. The sound bites are hilarious!
